Larger than the present hall, with improved acoustics and stage facilities. Arts and Culture form an important aspect of Mayfield life and a modern auditorium will reflect this, encouraging more varied music, drama and arts in the village. It is envisaged that this will be used by Mayfield Music Festival, Mayfield Primary School and St Leonards-Mayfield School for their concerts, The Phoenix Theatre Company, W.I. and Film on Friday for their various productions and also outside companies to perform at an excellent venue in Mayfield. In addition the Main Hall will also be suitable for a variety of sports and recreational facilities.

More comfortable than the large hall, which can be used as an annexe to the main hall, although as it will be accessible independently, it can be hired separately for meetings, seminars and events, with superb views over Court Meadow and the Valley beyond.
A larger and improved Kitchen equipped to commercial catering standards so that the building will offer high quality facilities for functions such as Weddings, Private Parties and events of all sizes. A Smaller Kitchen for drinks to serve the meeting rooms, and a Kitchenette/Bar are also planned.

These double as the dressing rooms for the stage, but can be hired separately for meetings and can be used simultaneously to the other Halls.

Providing a much needed base for local Youth groups, encouraging more activities for the youth of the village. Also providing a soundproof space for musicians and local bands to practice, as well as space for musical classes such as dancercise and step aerobics.

A long narrow space for use by the Rifle Club, as well as Indoor Bowls practice, Golf driving practice, and perhaps Archery and Cricket practice will be included. This area can also be hired separately and simultaneously to the other areas in the building.

A Parish Council office more easily accessible to all, is to be included, as well as a dedicated office base for the local Police Community Support Officers, to encourage their presence in the Village.

Changing rooms and showers for use by local and visiting sports teams, and externally accessible WC's for users of Court Meadow.

The Village Library has been invited to relocate from the Primary School to a larger, dedicated area within the new centre, alongside a Village Heritage Museum. The Library will offer increased resources and IT facilities.

Particular emphasis is being given to the environmental aspects of the new Centre, both in the construction and the future running costs.
Incorporated into the design is a Ground Source Heat Pump under the new enlarged car-park, together with solar hot water heating and rain water harvesting.
